Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization can be effective in treating repetition injuries. Muscle scraping restarts the healing process and can relieve chronic pain, like tennis elbow or repetitive stress injuries.
The tool is used gently to “scrape” back and forth over any muscle tissue where you may be experiencing issues. This helps to reduce soft tissue muscle restrictions. Scraping can be beneficial to patients with scar tissue, fascia restrictions, strained muscles and more.
Fascia blasting is a treatment that helps to reduce cellulite and smooth skin appearance. Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. The tissue does more than provide internal structure; fascia has nerves that make it almost as sensitive as skin. When fascia is in distress it can clamp onto itself and cause soreness. It can also adhere to your skin and cause visible dimples. Fascia adhesions can pull on the skin causing dents and dimples commonly known as cellulite.
Deep-tissue massage therapy helps to break up and eventually erase scar tissue in your body. Scar tissue is often associated with ongoing pain and stiffnes, caused by repetitive stress injury, sport injuries, car accidents, and surgeries. The Scooping Technique helps to improve these symptoms by stretching the muscles and fascia, which improves lymphatic circulation and drainage. This improves flexibility and range of motion in the affected area with regular massage sessions.
